No Nikon moments today.

I'm sorry to disappoint if you've visited my blog looking for new weekend trail riding photos.

Our Indian summer continues here in Colorado. The past few days have reached 80 degrees in Denver. We successfully made the switch to standard time. I turn into a pumpkin after dark. Gosh, I hate when that happens!

Butch and I, once again, mooched a ride with Ethel, Charlie, Nancy, and Zip and did a seven mile ride at Elk Meadow Open Space in Evergreen. The sky was somewhat overcast, the meadow a rich tan color, and the hillsides densely wooded with evergreens. The park was filled with hikers, trail runners, and mountain bikers. It wasn't until our trail's end in the parking lot that we encountered other horseback riders.

The good news is that my Durango will be ready for pick up by week's end. I'll be glad to have my own wheels back and be trailering myself and Butch once again.
