Barr Lake

Went out east today in Adams County to Barr Lake. It was sunny, in the 60's, and the trail was flat, flat, and more flat. Butch honestly couldn't believe his eyes! He thought all we ever did was rocky and steep. He was happy, even though in his picture he looks quite pissed. We saw a juvenile bald eagle, and though we were pretty close, I think if I had taken his picture he would've just blended in with the tree branches. I believe you've seen enough pictures of deer. We rode 10.5 miles.

There were thousands of Canadian geese, literally. At times, they would take flight in enormous numbers and their honking was quite loud. On the east side of the lake we had, of course, a nice view of a piece of the Front Range. All things were hardly captured close to how they were seen by the naked eye. Maybe if I carried my large Canon instead of my handy, dandy Nikon. Hmmmmm.........................

Next destination? It's anybody's guess.
